Ice Age Adventures is a free to play city builder/management game.

Ice Age Adventures is the second game in a series, one that puts you in charge of building an Ice Age city. Along the way, you'll play some fun mini-games, meet characters you know and love from the movies, and even get a chance to harvest some oddly specific types of currency. This is a free to play builder at its heart, but it's a good example of what can be done in the genre to make a game a little bit less of a total cash grab.

Unfortunately, most of what's in the game is lifted from other games that do it better. The mini-games are fun, but they're not unique. The city building is good, but it's slow if you aren't willing to spend real money. It's very hard to look at this game and not see a dozen other similar games on an app-store, most of which are only lower on the sales list due to the lack of a franchise tie-in.

If you like city builders or Ice Age, you'll probably like this game. You might get sick of it after you're gated away from new content, but it's sure to satisfy you for at least a few hours. This is another game where paying to play is the name of the game, so don't think you'll accomplish everything if you don't want to spend new money. In the end, this is only a game for fans of the franchise or genre.
